Do NAHCP programs have prerequisites?
Direct Answer
Some offerings state prerequisites and others do not. The individual program page is where any prerequisite appears.
The Full Answer
NAHCP education spans several levels, from foundational learning through advanced development. A prerequisite is stated when one applies to a particular offering.
A college degree, a healthcare licence and previous healthcare experience should not be assumed to be required unless the specific program says so.
Separately from enrollment prerequisites, a job or occupation you are pursuing may have its own requirements. Those are set by the employer, licensing authority or certifying body, not by the program.
Your Next Step
Check the prerequisites listed on the individual program page before enrolling.
