Can Healthcare Essentials™ courses count toward continuing education?
Direct Answer
Only where a specific course states that it carries CEU credit — and even then, acceptance is decided by the organization that sets your requirement.
The Full Answer
Healthcare Essentials™ exists for practical professional development. NAHCP’s continuing-education collection is a separate group of offerings.
CEU eligibility and credit amount are recorded separately for each offering and are never calculated from a course’s hour count. A 10-hour course does not automatically carry 10 hours of continuing-education credit.
If you need the education to satisfy a renewal requirement, verify with your licensing board, employer or certifying organization before enrolling.
Your Next Step
Check the CEU information on the specific course page, then verify acceptance with the organization that sets your requirement.
